At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Moose Jaw Police Service arrested a male on the 700 block of Stadacona Street West for breaching his parole. The man, who was on a Canada-wide warrant, was returned to the provincial correctional centre in Regina.

That was one of 36 calls to which local police responded between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.

At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities started investigation into a break in at a home on the zero block of Carrington Drive. Nothing appears stolen from the house, which was severely vandalized.

Around the same time on Wednesday, city police arrested three females for shoplifting on the zero block of Thatcher Drive East. The three individuals were released from custody with a warning.

Police are also investigating a break in at a property on the 1300 block of 12 Avenue Southwest. Approximately $4,600 in items were stolen during the incident, to which police responded at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

While police continue to investigate, one adult male faces assault charges following a 9:22 p.m. Wednesday incident on the 800 block of MacDonald Street.

Police also charged one male with mischief after responding to a report of a damaged vehicle on the zero block of Arrowhead Road at 10:42 p.m. on Wednesday.
