Oh baby! With 23 booths and over 60 patrons attending the first Moose Jaw Child-Parent Expo at 15 Wing on Saturday, event organizers are calling it a success.
“There’s still people coming in,” co-organizer Joan McMaster told the Times-Herald during the three-hour information and entertainment gathering at the Military Family Services Resource Centre.
She said the Moose Jaw & District Family Education Committee expo (organized in conjunction with other local groups and intended for children age 0-5, consists of local organizations that offer various young-child programming), showcased what is offered for parents and their infant/toddler offspring locally.
“Just lots of different programs,” she said.
Some of the groups with booths included Moose Jaw Public Library, South Central Early Childhood Intervention Program, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic School Division and Military Family Services Program.
