Moose Jaw Police Service recovered a reported stolen vehicle at the 100 block of Ross Street East at 10:55 a.m. on Tuesday. Authorities towed the vehicle back to the police station for processing. The matter is still under investigation.
That was one of 41 calls to which local police responded between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Police also apprehended a person who was intoxicated on the zero block of Manitoba Street East at 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday. At 2:31 a.m. on Wednesday, police charged another adult on the 300 block of River Drive for impaired driving and refusing to submit to the Breathalyzer.
There are no suspects or witnesses resulting from a report of a smashed windshield on a vehicle in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast at 4:39 p.m. on Tuesday, which resulted in $1,000 damage.
Police also arrested five people during the 24-hour period and report four people who failed to appear at the police station for fingerprinting.
