Two local men facing charges for possession and making available child abuse images had their cases adjourned until later in the month.
In Moose Jaw provincial court on Wednesday, Judge Margaret Gordon adjourned the case of 41-year-old Kevin Daniel Hudec, who faces charges of possession and making available child abuse images, until April 28.
As for 41-year-old Clifford Scott Douglas, who is also facing charges of possession and making available child abuse images, Gordon adjourned his case until April 19.
Last month, a Moose Jaw Police Service news release stated the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit and local city police executed three search warrants on March 11.
As a result of the searches, police and the unit seized two computers from each man.
Douglas has been released on bail, but Hudec remains in custody while awaiting trial, as bail was denied on March 17.
Hudec is also charged with breach of probation for failing to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, as well as failing to report a change of address within 15 days as required by the Sex Offender Information Registration Act.
