Police calls

Moose Jaw Police Service is investigating two thefts reported on Tuesday. The first occurred at Town n’ Country Mall at approximately 10:13 a.m. and the second happened on the 1400 block of Athabasca Street West at about 1 p.m., which was a theft from a vehicle.

In total, city police responded to 28 calls between 7 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday, including a report of someone driving away from a 210 Manitoba St. E. gas bar without paying for petrol at 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Police continue to investigate.

At 6:12 p.m. on Tuesday, local police responded to the 1100 block of Simcoe Street for a two-vehicle collision that resulted in one undisclosed charge, $15,000 damage and no injuries.
