Prairie South School Division names new director of education

Prairie School South Division has announced its new boss who will take up position in August.

    Jeff Finell will replace Brenda Edwards, the founding Director/CEO, when she retires at the end of the summer.

    Finell is currently Superintendent of Human Resources in Prairie South and he lives in Moose Jaw.

    His experience includes teaching assignments ranging from elementary through Grade 12 in Saskatchewan schools and Libya, principalships in three different schools, superintendencies in three Saskatchewan locations and seven years as a Saskatchewan Director of Education.

    In a press release, Ron Gleim, PSSD board chairman, said Finell has contributed broadly to the communities where he has worked.
