Moose Jaw Police Service ask Moose Javians to be mindful of the street-cleaning signs posted in various locations at different times, as the City of Moose Jaw continues spring-cleaning local streets.

If a vehicle is found parked in an area at the time city crews are supposed to clean the streets in that area, police must issue a citation and have the vehicle towed.

In total, local police responded to 43 calls between 4 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. Monday, including a break-in report from the 200 block of High Street West. Police continue to investigate the incident in which some personal items were stolen.

Police are also investigating a 10 a.m. Monday report of theft from the 100 block of Duffield Street, in which $1,000 in jewelry was stolen.

At 1:45 a.m. on Monday, police charged an adult male with breeching his recognizance in the 800 block of Coteau Street West.

Police have laid charges to an adult female for assault causing bodily harm in connection with a Saturday stabbing incident.

Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a complaint of a domestic dispute at 3:45 a.m. Saturday at a Prairie Oasis Trailer Court trailer. Upon arriving at the scene, police found four adults at the property, two of whom (both female) were engaged in a fight that resulted with one suffering knife stab wounds.

Police arrested a woman in connection with that stabbing. She was released on her own recognizance to appear in court at a later date.
