The City of Moose Jaw has a new city engineer.

On Thursday, acting city manager Jody Hauta announced the appointment of Mokles Rahman as director of engineering services, effective on Monday.

Most recently, Rahman was engineer for the Town of Chestermere in Alberta. He also held several positions with CARE International in Bangladesh. He has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, a Master of Business Administration and a Master in Development Management.

Rahman takes over for former city engineer Ryan Johnson.

    All the best to the new man. I wish him luck dealing with this bunch and don't envy the task before him after the mess that's been created. Good luck as you'll need it!

    Thank you Max, you did a good job with the landslide of work that got dumped on you...sooooo loooong Mr. Johnson .......Good Luck Mr. Rahman, i think you'll need it......Now how about the City Commissionair ??
