One person suffered minor injuries and Moose Jaw Police Service charged an adult male with impaired driving following a two-vehicle collision on Coteau Street West and Cree Crescent at about 4:47 p.m. on Wednesday, which resulted in approximately $10,000 damage.
That was just one of 81 calls to which city police responded between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday.
Police also responded to a two-vehicle collision at the Civic Centre parking lot around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, which resulted in approximately $10,000 damage and one charge of one driver following too close.
At 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday at Grandview Place, police recovered a stolen vehicle. The matter is still under investigation.
City police responded to a complaint of two female shoplifters at 6:19 p.m. on Wednesday on the 1200 block of Main Street North.
On the 200 block of Manitoba Street East at 6:42 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a complaint of a suspicious person. From responding to that complaint, police ended up charging an adult make with theft.
At 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a domestic dispute complaint on the zero block of Coteau Street East, followed with a response to a dispute complaint at the downtown portion of the multiplex at 10:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police charged an adult male with theft under $5,000 and for three court-order breaches on the zero block of Caribou Street West at about 3:14 p.m. on Thursday.
At 9:39 a.m. on Thursday at the 1300 block of 12 Avenue Southwest, police responded to a complaint of an attempted residential break-in.
On Thursday, city police had 11 warrants to exercise for people failing to attend court.
One person was charged for failure to yield following a two-vehicle collision at Duffield Street Avenue and Tapley Avenue at approximately 1:34 p.m. on Thursday, which resulted in no injuries but cause about $10,000 damage.
