Of all the vehicles to back into, on the 400 block of Home Street West at 12:26 a.m. on Friday a motorist backed into a police vehicle, causing minor damages. There were no injuries, but police gave the driver a ticket.

That was one of 89 calls to which Moose Jaw Police Service responded between 4 p.m. Thursday and 4 p.m. Friday.

On the 900 block of Hochelaga Street West at 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, city police responded to a stolen vehicle report and charged one youth.

At 4:26 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a complaint of a vehicle that was allegedly entered on the 200 block of Main Street West, with a significant amount of electrical equipment being taken.

At 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to Princess Crescent to investigate a text messaging issue.

On the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue Northwest at 5:37 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a complaint of a vehicle that was allegedly entered and electrical equipment was stolen.

A motorist was taken to hospital with minor injuries following a single-vehicle collision in which a motorbike lost control on the 1500 block of Main Street North.

Police charged one person following a two-vehicle collision on the 1600 block of Lakeview Road at 8:54 p.m., which caused minor injuries and $25,000 damage.

Police apprehended one person for being intoxicated in public at about 6:17 a.m. on Friday. The person was walking by Moose Jaw Cemetery at the time.

Around 6:30 a.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of a vehicle that was allegedly lifted on blocks and its tires stolen overnight.

Charges are pending an investigation, following a two-vehicle collision on the corner of Ninth Avenue Northwest and Trans Canada Highway at approximately 10:22 a.m. on Friday, which resulted in minor injuries and about $20,000 damage.

Police are investigating an alleged assault between two adult males that happened on the 300 block of Lillooet Street West at 12:17 p.m. on Friday.

There was one charge and one tow following a two-vehicle collision at the corner of North Service Road and Main Street North at 12:20 p.m. on Friday. The collision caused about $5,000 damage.

Police assisted a woman with medical issues on the 400 block of Fairford Street East at about 3 p.m. on Friday.
