How does multiplex operating board chairman Kurt Saladana think the citizens of Moose Jaw will react when they walk into the soccer facility during its grand opening this autumn and look upon the sheer size of the facility?
“They’re going to be pumped when they see it.”
Saladana told the Times-Herald his fellow nonprofit board of directors for the downtown facility and soccer field-house facility still have to sort out such details as that grand opening date, as well as numerous other tasks now that they have officially taken control of operations for the multiplex.
During a media conference at the almost-finished soccer facility on Monday, board members, Mayor Glenn Hagel and the city manager signed the operating agreement between the City of Moose Jaw and operating board.
“We’re all very excited and we’re hoping by being the groundbreaking crew that we get it right,” Saladana said just before signing the agreement.
