An Ontario man accused of stealing cash, cigarettes and jewelry from businesses across the province —including Moose Jaw- has been denied bail.

Craig Allen Freeman, 57, of Toronto, is charged with seven counts of theft over $5,000 and six counts of theft under $5,000.

He appeared at Moose Jaw’s provincial court on Monday. The hearing was adjourned until Tuesday while Judge Margaret Gordan considered the case.

His fellow accused are Theodore Anthony Koch, 51, of London Ontario and Frank Michael Ferguson, 57, of Toronto. They were not in court but are in custody outside of Saskatchewan.
