Moose Jaw Police responded to a total of 43 calls from Monday to Tuesday afternoons.
At 4:00 p.m. Monday, a break and enter to a home was reported from the 600 block of Athabasca Street East. The trespasser entered through a window sometime between 12:15 and 2:15 p.m., taking money and jewelry from the house.
A vehicle was seized on the 200 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast at 4:02 p.m. The driver had a suspended license.
A two-vehicle accident resulting in $1,500 damage on Ross Street West was reported to police at 5:23 p.m. One person was charged with leaving a stop sign before it was safe to do so.
Another break and enter was reported at 5:45 p.m. from the 800 block of Hochelaga Street East. The home had been entered sometime overnight and a Samsung LCD television valued at $1,400 was taken.
A theft of Valium from a residence on the 1000 block of Chestnut Avenue was reported at 5:48 p.m.
At 8:07 p.m., a driver was reported to be driving the wrong way on the Manitoba Expressway. Police searched for the vehicle, and when unable to find it, notified the RCMP, as the vehicle was headed out of Moose Jaw.
One person was charged with impaired driving on the 300 block of Coteau Street West at 8:55 p.m.
At 9:00 p.m., police charged one person under the fighting bylaw on the 1600 block of Main Street North.
Police gave one person a 24-hour driving suspension on the 1300 block of Main Street North at 9:27 p.m.
A vehicle on Thatcher Drive West at Caribou Street West had its rear window smashed and a stereo stolen from it at 11:10 p.m.
At 12:17 a.m. on the 0 block of High Street West, police aided an intoxicated person. EMS was contacted and the person was taken to hospital.
Police heard of a gas theft from the 400 block of the North Service Road at 8:25 a.m. The culprit was a van with a damaged back window, license plate FLN 115.
At 9:13 a.m. on Main Street North at River Street police responded to a three-vehicle collision resulting in $15,000 damage. One person was charged with driving without due care and attention.
The top of a fence post was cut off at a residence on the 800 block of High Street East, reported at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday.
At 10:39 a.m. on the 400 block of Main Street North, a collision between a city bus and a parked vehicle occurred, resulting in $7,500 damage.
Police are investigating a report of possible Internet fraud using PayPal.
Another motor vehicle accident occurred on Main Street (900 block), reported at 12:29 p.m. One person was taken to hospital from the two-vehicle collision, and one driver was charged with driving without due care and attention. The accident caused $2,000 damage.
At 3:29 p.m., Moose Jaw Police responded to a dispute on the 900 block of Main Street North. The situation was mediated.
