People interested in taking up a new hobby and improving their health might find the Taoist Tai Chi Society is for them.
An open house with the society in Moose Jaw will be held on Sept. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Andrews United Church.
The morning will introduce people to the benefits of Taoist Tai Chi before beginner classes start on Sept. 15.
Donna Kerr, acting president of the society in Moose Jaw, said there will be a demonstration of the 108 moves.
“We will have a bit on the history about it and people can come and try out three or four moves and we will have people there to register people if they are interested in joining,” she said.
