The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a total of 42 calls from Thursday to Friday afternoons.
Police dealt with a number of drunk drivers through the night, laying five impaired driving charges and one charge of driving over .08. The incidents occurred over a six hour stretch from midnight to 6 a.m. at First Avenue Northwest at Oxford Street West, the 0 block of Manitoba Street East, the 200 block of Main Street North, the 1100 block of First Avenue Northwest, and the 1500 block of Caribou Street West.
At 7:35 p.m. Thursday, one person was charged with breaching a court order on the 1200 block of Twelfth Avenue Southwest.
One person was charged with trespassing on the 100 block of High Street West at 9:54 p.m.
Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at 8:47 a.m. Friday on the 1400 block of Ninth Avenue Northwest. The accident caused $800 damage and no charges were laid.
At 9:24 a.m. on the 0 block of Manitoba Street East, one person was charged with theft under $5,000 and two breaches of recognizance.
No charges were laid in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Main Street North and Thatcher Drive East at 12:48 p.m. The incident caused $2,500 damage.
Police responded to a single vehicle accident at 1:29 p.m. Friday at the corner of Grafton Avenue and Saskatchewan Street West. Damage was estimated at $8,000.
