The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 60 calls for service between 7 a.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. on Saturday, including two persons arrested on outstanding warrants and one person charged for failing to comply with their court order. Police detained one person for public intoxication and are still investigating two mischiefs to property, a prohibited driver, two erratic drivers, three threatening complaints and six hit-and-runs.
The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 53 calls for service between 7 a.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. on Sunday, including making an arrest on a person with an outstanding warrant, charging a person for failing to comply with their court order, charging one person with impaired driving and responding to three domestic disputes, with one resulting in assault charges. Police also recovered a stolen truck, picked up an intoxicated person, attended to four noise complaints, dealt with two reports of mischief, two reports of mischief to property, three reports of theft and one hit-and-run is being investigated.
The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to one townhouse fire, one vehicle fire and one industrial fire over the weekend. The townhouse fire occured in South Hill. The vehicle fire occurred on the 400 block of Lillooet Street West. The industrial fire occurred on the 600 block of Lillooet Street West.
