An adult male is set to appear in provincial court this morning for multiple charges of breach of probation, impaired driving, mischief and armed robbery.
Moose Jaw Police Service received several phone calls regarding an erratic driver on Sunday at about 6:30 p.m. The vehicle was in the area of Caribou Street and Fourth Avenue Northwest, described as a SUV missing a rear tire and riding on its bare rim.
Police responded and located the vehicle parked in an alley. The driver fled on foot.
According to a press release, other patrol units “flooded the area” and the suspect was apprehended.
Further investigation revealed the man was “responsible for crimes of mischief and armed robbery that occurred just prior to his erratic driving.”
