Black smoke was seen rising into the Moose Jaw air early Saturday morning.
Moose Jaw fire and police services were called to the scene of a house fire on Everton Crescent at 6:29 a.m.
Located in a newer development on the west side of South Hill, the blaze fully engulfed the house, garage and an enclosed trailer in the driveway.
Commander Chris Christmann was not on scene when the blaze began, but he said crews were picking up and shutting down the nearby hydrant at about 9 a.m.
"At this point I couldn't put a number on it, but (there was) extensive damage," said Christmann.
Nobody was hurt, but the fire did spread to the homes on either side of the house on fire. Damage to those two homes appears minimal.
"As of 1:30 p.m. the investigation team will be going over the whole scene, so at this point it's still under investigation," noted Christmann.
