Three youths have been charged and an arrest warrant has been issued for the fourth suspect, relating to an Oct. 13 incident.
The four Moose Jaw males allegedly entered a residence on the 700 block of Second Avenue Northwest. Armed with firearms and bear spray, the four accused demanded money from an adult male before spraying him in the face with the bear spray. They then fled the scene.
Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) attended to the zero block of Caribou Street West for a report of an adult suffering from the effects of bear spray. The victim was transported by EMS to Moose Jaw Union Hospital where he was treated and released.
Three of the youths — who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act — have been arrested and charged with break and enter and commit assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for purpose dangerous to the public peace and “numerous other weapon related charges,” according to a MJPS press release.
