"The Canadian Forces 431 Squadron, better known as the Snowbirds, wrapped up its 2012 season with a final demonstration for friends and family at their home base, Moose Jaw 15 Wing, on Friday. 'Typically, this show has always been for family and friends. It's not really open to the public,' said Capt. Thomas Edelson, the Snowbirds' media relations officer. The Moose Jaw Fire Department reported two fire calls between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
The Fire Department provided assistance to EMS on the 0 block of High Street West and again on the 1300 block of Gordon Road Friday evening.
The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a combined 98 calls between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Sunday, including six suspicious person or occurrence reports, five complaints of erratic or dangerous driving, three disturbances, three calls to assist EMS, two assaults, one hit and run, and one domestic disturbance.
Police issued two 24-hour license suspensions, charged one female with impaired driving and driving over .08, arrested two people on outstanding warrants, took a woman into custody for trafficking cocaine and charged one person with breach of court order.
