Moose Jaw and Morse RCMP responded to several jack-knifed semi trucks on the Trans-Canada Highway Sunday.
The accidents occurred between Chaplin and Parkbeg, roughly an hour west of Moose Jaw.
As a result, the westbound lanes of Highway 1 were blocked for a few hours.
The RCMP reported that the accidents were the result of icy roads during the morning hours.
As of 2 p.m., one of the westbound lanes had reopened. The other westbound lane is still closed as the accidents are cleaned up.
If you are headed west on the Trans-Canada expect delays for a while longer.
