Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded four calls for service between 7 a.m. Monday and 7.m. Wednesday, which included responding to a pair of alarms sounding at 15 Wing on Tuesday evening, assisting EMS personnel at the intersection of Thatcher Drive and Ninth Avenue Northwest Monday and responding to a service call along the 1700 block of Main Street North on Monday.



Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 124 calls for service between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Those calls included 12 motor vehicle accicdents, six of wich had damage over $20,000 and resulted in two charges of failure to yield, one charge of speeding too fast for the road conditions and one charge of impaired driving. Police also responded to three hit and runs, mischief on the 1200 block of Main Street North, resulting in items stolen averaging $1,500 and one obstruction of a police officer.

Police also responded to seven 911 calls, arrested seven people on warrants and four activated alarms, seized one vehicle and two complaints of theft, one of which resulted in a male charged with vehicle theft.

Police also responded to two complaints of brake and enter into garages, one complaint of assault, eight complaints of intoxicated persons, three suspicious persons or occurrences and charged one person for assaulting a police officer.
