Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department did not respond to any calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.


Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 63 calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, including three fights, two alarms, one threat, three suspicious occurrences or persons, two thefts, two non-urgent 911 calls and providing assistance to locate a person.

Police also responded to complaints of four hit and runs and five multi-vehicle accidents, which resulted in about $22,000 in damage, three charges levied and no injuries except for ones that are still under investigation stemming from a 3:45 a.m. incident on the Manitoba Expressway at 13 Avenue East. 

Police also investigated four complaints of assault, which resulted in one adult male charged with assault. They also charged one adult male with possession of marijuana and one adult female with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
