Blue Rodeo co-founder Jim Cuddy is once again leading a team of musicians into the tenth annual Juno Cup, to be held at Mosaic Place on April 19. “The Juno Cup is a fun recreational (hockey) game where we have musicians versus NHLers,” Cuddy told the Times-Herald. “We’re lucky enough to have the NHL alumni involved . . . Moose Jaw Fire Department had no activities to report between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 38 calls for service between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday including: theft of $3,500 worth of tools from a shed, found drugs, an intoxicated male taken to hospital, threats, dangerous driving, an unfounded stalking complaint, two domestic disturbances, reports of snowmobiles in the city and a dispute.
Police are still investigating reports of: a possible sexual assault on the 100 block of Grandview Street West, an attempted fraud, a hit and run of a black Honda car by a grain truck, an assault, inappropriate phone calls and another hit and run.
