Moose Jaw Wakamow MLA Greg Lawrence knows a thing or two about being a foster parent.

Moose Jaw Wakamow MLA Greg Lawrence delivers a speech on behalf of the Saskatchewan government on Jan. 11 at the YaraCentre. On Tuesday, it was announced that Lawrence will work closely with the Saskatchewan Foster Families Association on ways to improve the foster care system.

He and his wife have been foster parents on and off for 10 years during their time in Estevan and Moose Jaw, which is one of the reasons he is so adamant about looking for ways to improve foster care.
