By early Sunday afternoon, the temperature was reported to be -38 C in the Friendly City. The Weather Network and Environment Canada were reporting wind chill warnings for most of the province, with the very southern regions being the only ones excluded. Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to three service calls between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Headquarters and Lillooet stations responded to two activated fire alarms.
Lillooet station responded to the 900 block of Ninth Avenue Northwest to assist EMS personnel with a medical call.
Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 23 calls for service including two males arrested on breaches, one male was arrested for shoplifting and police assisted with an intoxicated female.
Police are still investigating reports of: assault, erratic driving and a theft.
