A woman is dead following a single-vehicle collision between Moose Jaw and Caronport.
According to a police report from the RCMP, the collision occured at 6:50 a.m. on Friday 12 kilometers west of Moose Jaw on the Trans-Canada Highway. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Members of the Moose Jaw and District EMS, Caronport Fire Department and the coroner's office are currently on scene.
The vehicle the woman was driving was travelling east when it left the road and rolled onto the centre median.
Road conditions are believed to be a factor in the collision.
The RCMP forensic traffic investigator is on scene. Traffic is slowed to one lane in each direction. RCMP want drivers to remember to slow down and use caution when passing hte scene.
The name of the woman who died is not released at this time.
