The poor weather and low temperatures that have dogged Moose Jaw are causing problems for the NATO Flying Training in Canada program at 15 Wing. “We’ve been affected by the weather since October,” said Lt.-Col. Scott Greenough, Commandant of the 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School. “We’re teaching, out here, four areas of flying. Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to two unintentional alarms sounding calls between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 29 calls for service between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday including a parking complaint, a cyber bullying complaint, drug possession, vehicle seizure, threats, fraud, a suspicious male, an erratic driver, a dispute and a report of harassing calls.
Police are still investigating a report of fraud.
