For Mayor Deb Higgins, the last day of the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association convention had a lot to do with health. She said she spent a good part of the morning on Wednesday talking with provincial health minister Dustin Duncan. The four-day convention began in Saskatoon on Sunday and ended Wednesday. “I asked him about the issue with the hyperbaric unit and what was going to happen there,” said Higgins. “His comments were that it was used a number of times.” — Feb. 7, 2013

Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 32 calls for service between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday including three parking complaints, an unwanted guest, a disturbance, a fire call and a dispute.
