Fire calls and police calls for Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014.

Fire calls

Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to two calls between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.

Crews responded to the intersection of Macdonald Street and Fourth Avenue Northwest to assist the police department and responded to Wakamow Valley for a service call.

 

Police calls

Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 39 service calls between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday including a puppy left in a vehicle, reports of drug use, a hit and run, a car improperly parked in a handicapped spot, two impaired drivers, a prohibited driver,  a suspicious vehicle, two disputes and an unwanted male.

Police responded to a single vehicle collision with two minor injuries and estimated damage of $10,000.

Police are still investigating reports of: an erratic driver and a theft of jewelry with an estimated worth of $2,500.
