On Wednesday, Saskatoon became home t Saskatchewan’s first We Day. We Day is a celebration of youth social activism on a global scale, and this first We Day in Saskatchewan had 15,000 students in attendance. Starting the show was Toronto-based rapper Jake Zeldin. He spoke of how he was bullied when he was in school, and how seeing the mass number of students at We Day making the effort to change the world gives him hope. – March 2, 2013

The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to one calls for service between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday involving an activated alarm.
The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 20 calls for service between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, including four 911 calls, executing two warrants, one breach of a court order, one arrest for illegal drug possession and three intoxicated people, one of which was a disturbance at a home in the 200 block of Wellington Drive.
Police also responded to two landlord-tenant issues, ticketed a minor for attempting to use fake identification and charged an adult male with assault following an incident along the zero block of Manitoba Street West.
