Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 30 calls between 7 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, including seven 911 calls, one person taken to hospital for alcohol poisoning, an unwanted house guest charged under the private property act and theft of property that is still under investigation.

Police are also investigating a reported assault along the 800 block of Valleyview Drive, as well as a possible voyeur in area of Crescent Park.

Police are looking into a hit and run that occurred along the 800 block of Alder Avenue in the past 48 hours. Damage is to the driver’s side door and is estimated at $1,000.

Police are also reminding  the public that to operate a snowmobile within the City of Moose Jaw except on designated land is illegal, as there have been several reports of snowmobilers in Wakamow Valley this winter.
