The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 52 calls for service between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, including four 911 calls, break and enters into two vehicles, two noise complaints, one dispute, one case of graffiti, one case of threats uttered, one case of fraud that is still under investigation and an adult male charged for shoplifting in the 200 block of First Avenue Northwest.
Police charged a male youth with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in the 200 block of Thatcher Drive East and received a report of a hit and run that occurred on March 9. Damage is estimated at $3,000.
Police also responded to two multi-vehicle accidents. The first occurred along the 1500 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest, resulting in an estimated $15,000 damage and one injury. The second occurred between a car and a bus at the intersection of Hall Street West and Second Avenue Northwest. Injuries were reported and the collision remains under investigation.
