The Moose Jaw fire Department responded to one call between 7 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, which involved Headquarters station going to the 1300 block of Connaught Avenue for a service call at 4:16 p.m.
The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 28 calls for service between 7 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, including two disputes, one domestic dispute, two threats and harassment on Facebook, two hit and runs that are still under investigation and the theft of morphine pills on the 800 block of Hochelaga Street East.
Police also responded to mischief to two vehicles on the 500 block of Home Street West, in which windows were smashed, doors were pried open and the vehicles were rummaged through.
Police also responded to a single vehicle accident on the 900 block of High Street West that caused approximately $6,000 damage. The driver went through a deep puddle, hit a large pothole and slid into a meridian before hitting a light standard.
