This time a year ago Morgan Rielly was preparing to take his first strides on the ice as he tried to push himself to return to game action. There were questions about how his surgically repaired right knee would react, how that might affect his game and his status amongst National Hockey League teams. That all seems very long ago now. Rielly returned for the Eastern Conference final last spring, was selected fifth overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL draft, played in his first world juniors and attended his first NHL training camp. – March 18, 2013

The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to one call for service between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday and it was to assist EMS personnel on the 500 block of Seventh Avenue Southeast.
The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 55 calls for service between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, including the execution of three warrants, three alarm calls, three disputes that were mediated, two breaches of recognizance and issuing one 24-hour license suspension.
Police also responded to two thefts – 900 block of Henry Street and 700 block of Ominica Street East – and both are still under investigation.
Police assisted EMS with a male patient who was transported to Moose Jaw Union Hospital. The incident is still under investigation for charges.
