Moose Jaw has some money coming to it in the new provincial budget.

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall

In a budget that forecasts a $71 million surplus, the Friendly City will see $16 million specifically allocated to its new regional hospital and an unspecified amount of funds for a "major renovation project" at the Sacred Heart Community School.

The budget, which was delivered on a summary basis this year in response to the Auditor's report issued late last year, also earmarks $815,000 in new funding for what the government calls its Bullying and Cyber-bullying Action Plan.

Municipal revenue sharing is seeing a decrease of 2.8 per cent from last year's budget, and is now set at $257 million for 2014-2015.
