There will be no plea from Jesse David Taylor, who has opted for a trial by jury.

Moose Jaw Provincial Court

Taylor, 22, was scheduled to appear in Moose Jaw provincial court on Tuesday, but waived his appearance.

Taylor faces 12 charges stemming from a fatal rollover last September.

Among those charges are three counts of impaired driving causing death, three counts of driving over .08 causing death, three counts of dangerous driving causing death, and one count each of impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing bodily harm and driving over .08 causing bodily harm.

The rollover occurred on Sept. 15, 2013.

A vehicle with six occupants was travelling on Highway 2, approximately 37 kilometres south of Moose Jaw, when it rolled.

Three 24-year-olds — Jason Friesen and Joshua Patterson of Moose Jaw and Justin Kowalski of Mossbank — were killed in the rollover.

Taylor and another passenger received minor injuries, while the sixth occupant is recovering from their injuries in B.C.

His matters have been set over to April 9, but no trial date has been set.
