Fire department acquires oximeters

The Moose Jaw Fire Department has a new tool to help it save lives.

Moose Jaw Fire Chief Rod Montgomery poses with one of three new oximeters acquired by the MJFD with the assistance of a grant from Enbridge.

Called the Masimo Rad-57 Pulse CO Oximeter, it's a small device that uses wavelengths of light shone through a finger to measure carbon monoxide (CO) saturation within a person's blood stream.

Organizations: Moose Jaw Fire Department, Enbridge, Lillooet Station
