Wakamow Valley Authority requests the public to keep off the Moose Jaw river.

The river ice may look stable but as the warmer temperatures arrive it has weakened the ice and it has become extremely dangerous.

Keep pets leashed in Wakamow Valley and around the river and other water areas and do not follow your animal onto the ice surface.

If you see anyone, especially children, playing on the ice or near dangerous water, call the Moose Jaw City Police at 306-694-7600. In case of emergency, call 911.
