Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to a pair of calls for service between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.

Shortly after noon on Wednesday, Headquarters Station dispatched to the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue Northwest for a fire alarm.

Both stations responded to the 200 block of Mulberry Lane late Wednesday night for a second fire alarm.

Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 33 calls for service between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday, including two disputes, two hit and runs, two unwanted guest complaints, two complaints of suspicious people, a break and enter, a complaint each of dangerous and impaired driving, and a collision.

Police continue to investigate one of the hit and runs, the dangerous driving complaint, and one of the suspicious person complaints that stemmed from an incident where an adult male in a green, four-door car was spotted filming a young girl on Oxford Street East.

They also remain on the watch for a female patient who escaped from the Union Hospital's psychiatric ward.
