Police and fire calls and job listings for the past 24 hours

The Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan held its Annual General Meeting Saturday at Moose Jaw's Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. Although members had much to discuss in a short amount of time, PC Party leader Rick Swenson said one of the priority topics was the return of the party's trust fund. —April 15, 2013

Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department did not have any service calls to report between 7 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 29 calls for service between 7 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, including three hit and runs, two break and enter thefts, two disputes, a theft, an assault, a collision, a harassment complaint and a disturbance.

Police also turned over an abandoned dog to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, charged one of the drivers in the collision with driving with undue care and attention, charged an individual involved in the disturbance for assaulting a peace officer, and found a purse.

Police continue to investigate one of the break and enter thefts, a hit and run, and an assault, as well as a possible second assault.
