A 23-year-old man is in stable condition following a collision between a truck and a van at Ninth Avenue Northwest and the Trans-Canada Highway. The incident happened at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, said Cst. Trish Seman of the Moose Jaw Police Service. The driver of the van was headed southbound on Ninth Avenue, crossing the intersection with the highway when his vehicle was struck by a pickup truck headed eastbound, she said. – April 24, 2013

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 38 calls for service between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday, including five 911 calls, executing three warrants, one dispute and three separate cases of mischief with damages totaling approximately $450.
Police responded to a break and enter at a residence on the 1000 block of Ninth Avenue Northwest. They took a male into custody and charged him.
An investigation has been launched into the theft iPads on the 500 block of Coteau Street West. The value of the stolen items is estimated at $4,800.
Police responded to a single vehicle accident at Fifth Avenue Northwest and Athabasca Street after the vehicle hit a pothole and two of its tires sustained damage estimated at $800.
Just after 10 p.m., police arrested a male on the 900 block of Hochelaga Street West. The man was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant. No further details have yet been released.
