Three youth rob a man at gunpoint

Moose Jaw Police Service

A middle-aged man was robbed at gun point by three youths on Friday 3:57 p.m.

According to a police report, during the encounter in the 200 block of High Street West, the man was struck with a metal bar. He sustained minor injuries.

The youths took an undisclosed amount of cash and personal property. After the confrontation, the youths fled the area on foot. Police apprehended two youths within the hour and the third youth was located and arrested overnight.

The investigation involved patrol, the K-9 unit and members of the criminal investigation unit.

All three youths will face charges of robbery with a firearm and several other firearm related charges. They are in custody waiting a judicial process by a judge.

Two of the three youths had been on community service orders when the incident took place and had their orders revoked until the matter is reviewed.
