Runners of all ages started the Double Shift Fun Run on Saturday morning at Spring Creek

Proceeds from this year's Fun Run will go toward Special Olympics.

Double Shift Conditioning and Special Olympics Moose Jaw have engaged in a partnership for the third annual Fun Run.

"We've been doing this for a couple of years and we just decided that we wanted to support the Special Olympics athletes," said Crystal Zakaluzny, owner of Double Shift Conditioning.

There are 61 Special Olympics athletes in Moose Jaw. The funding will support their programs.

The Fun Run will take place on May 24 starting at 8:30 a.m. at Spring Creek. Participants can walk or run three or six kilometers.
