The Moose Jaw Fire Department received two calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.
Engines were dispatched from Headquarters and Lillooet Stations Friday afternoon to respond to an alarm on the 800 block of Fifth Avenue Northwest.
Minutes later, Lillooet Station responded to a second alarm on the 600 block of Fairford Street East.
In addition, the MJFD received three calls for service between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
Engines from Lillooet Station were dispatched to the 1600 block of Spadina Drive for an alarm Saturday morning.
Less than an hour later, Headquarters Station dispatched to the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast to assist EMS.
On Sunday morning, Lillooet Station dispatched an engine to the unit block of Elson Street.
The Moose Jaw Police Service received 57 calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, including two collisions, two hit and runs, two shoplifting complaints, two disturbances, a dispute, an assault and a harassment complaint.
Police placed a charge of changing lanes before safe in one of the collisions and charged a woman with theft in connection to one of the shoplifting incidents.
They also charged a second driver in a separate incident with impaired driving and possession of marijuana.
Police continue to investigate both hit and runs and the second shoplifting complaint.
The MJPS received an additional 47 calls for service between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, including two mischief complaints, two noise complaints, two disturbance complaints, two thefts, a break and enter, a collision, an assault and a weapons call.
Police charged a driver involved in the collision with change lane when unsafe, charged an individual with breaking and entering and three counts of assault, charged another individual on a separate incident with assault and a breach, and charged a fourth individual with impaired driving.
Police continue to investigate an ongoing problem with barking dogs early in the morning on the 700 block of Stadacona Street West. They are also investigating the two mischief complaints, the two thefts, the weapons call and one of the disturbance calls.
In addition, police were advised of a driver driving away after filling his car with $30 worth of gas. Police contacted the driver and discovered his actions were not intentional. He returned and paid for the gas.
