The Doobie Brothers Rockin' down the highway to Mosaic Place

Get ready to feel nostalgia — The Doobie Brothers are coming to town.

The band that is described  to be as durable as American steel, is bringing their top hits, "Jesus is Just All Right", "Rockin' Down the Highway" and much more to Mosaic Place on October 19, 2014. 

"This is one of the more popular bands of the 70s and 80s," said Doug Campbell. director of business development at Mosaic Place. "With the massive catalogue of hits, we do expect a simliar response to what we have had with previous concerts — like ZZ top and Chicago." 

The four-time Grammy winning Doobie Brothers sound has been a fixture of americana since their multi-million selling sophomore collection, Toulouse Street, in 1972. The Doobies roots-based, harmony-laden, guitar-driven style has sold more than 30 million albums in the past 40 plus years. In total, the Doobie Brothers have collected five top 10 singles and 16 top 40 hits.

The classic band's tour is booked until November and will also be performing in Red Deer, Alta, Prince George, B.C. and Abbotsford, B.C.
