High school teachers and students missing too many classes: trustee

“At our high school level and in our teaching level, we have excessive absenteeism,” the PSSD school board trustee told fellow board members Tuesday.

    Agreed! My daughter's teacher has been away over 40 days since September...and it has been terrible. Constant substitute teachers, lack of actual progress evaluation because of a lack of consistency...when inquired about our concern...I told told it is a union issue and there is nothing the school can do!
