Two Moose Jaw men are facing charges following the execution of a search warrant by the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) on April 22.

MJPS seized marijuana with a street value of $2,300 from a residence on the 900 block of Athabasca Street West, plus an unspecified amount of cash.

A stolen firearm was also recovered inside the residence. It was loaded full of ammunition.

Further investigation by the MJPS led to consultation with Moose Jaw RCMP. Eventually, the investigation led the MJPS and RCMP to determine the firearm had been stolen during a previous break and enter in the rural municipality of Redburn.

In total, the MJPS and RCMP recovered three firearms.

Clinton Andrew Harris-Windrum, 20, and Jordan Matthew Easton, 24, were arrested and charged with drug trafficking and numerous firearm-related offences on May 20, including break and enter with the intent to steal firearms and firearms trafficking.

Harris-Windrum appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Wednesday, while Easton appeared in court Thursday.

Both men have been remanded into custody, awaiting bail hearings – Harris-Windrum on May 26 and Easton on June 3.

This investigation remains ongoing.
