One of them likes only the red and white peppermints and will refuse to eat any other kind. Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department did not respond to any calls for service between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.


Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 44 calls for service between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, including eight 911 calls, two warrants executed, one incident of trespassing, one dangerous driver and three cases of mischief, two of which are still under investigation.

Police also responded to four thefts of items valued under $5,000. Three of these thefts are still under investigation and involve a stolen laptop, a stolen GPS and cash from a stolen wallet.

The fourth theft resulted in police laying a charge of shoplifting along the 500 block of First Avenue Northwest. The suspect will appear in court at a later date.
