Job listings and emergency service calls for the past 24 hours

Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to three calls for service between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

On Thursday afternoon, Headquarters station dispatched to assist Moose Jaw Police at Main Street North and Thatcher Drive East.

Thursday night, Headquarters station responded to a service call on the 1300 block of Algoma Avenue. 

Roughly two hours later, Lillooet station responded to another service call on the zero block of Coteau Street East.

Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service received 52 calls for service between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, including three hit and runs, three disputes, three noise complaints, two erratic drivers, a theft, a collision, a fire bylaw violation, a complaint of threats, and a public intoxication complaint.

Police placed a charge of failure to yield on one of the drivers involved in the collision and charged a woman with breach of undertaking.

Police continue to investigate the hit and runs and the theft.
